Ikkinz Raid Trial #4: Antechamber of Destruction
Requesting the Raid
Locate Sentinel of the Altar in Kod’Taz. Give him Icon of the Altar to receive Ikkinz Raid #4: Antechamber of Destruction. He will give the Icon of the Altar back to you. As the requester, you’ll need to have completed all Kod’Taz progression up to this point. A minimum of a 6-player group is required to receive the raid. Offline players work as well.
Overview
Pre-requirements for this raid:
– Rogue with some Pickpocking skill (200+ is more than enough)
– NEC, WIZ, MAG, or ENC with 200+ Research and a Spell Research Kit
– CLR, DRU, or SHM with a little bit of Tailoring skill (100 is more than enough) and a Sewing Kit
– At 1 least of each arch-type class: Melee, Priest, Hybrid, Caster (may be required to kill certain mobs)
Step 1
When you first zone in you’ll see Stalwart Caretaker. You’ll need a rogue to Pickpocket Runic Inscription from him. Hand it to him
Step 2
Next you’ll need to kill 2x Altar Warden’s. Have your NEC/WIZ/MAG/ENC with 200+ Research skill player loot Runed Glyph: Noxit and Runed Glyph: Aexit from their corpses.
Altar Warden
– 400K HP
– Hits 2300+ (35 Heroic Stamina)
– Immune to Slow
– Rampage
– Casts Fling (AE PC, Knockback, Unresistable)
– Casts Throw (Single Target, 3000 DD + Knockback, -1000 Magic Based)
– Casts Stone Explosion (PBAE, 400 DD, -400 Magic Based)
Step 3
1) Use Runed Glyph: Noxit and Runed Glyph: Aexit to open the next two doors. Place one on your cursor and type “U” on your keyboard to use it.
2) Kill the Altar Sentry behind each door.
Altar Sentry
– 400K HP
– Hits 2300+ (35 Heroic Stamina)
– Slowable
– Rampage
– Casts Strike of Glory (Single Target, Feign Death, Unresistable)
– Casts Earth Wave (PBAE, 600 DD + stun, -350 Prismatic Based)
– Peroidcally changes target
– Must die from certain class arch-type or it will respawn. It will emote indicating which class arch-type needs to get the killing blow:
Caster: The creature will perish under the strength of intelligent magic.
Hybrid: The creature looks vulnerable to the might of combined strength and ingenuity.
Melee: “Strength and cunning.”
Priest: The creature cannot stand up to the power of healers.
3) Have your 200+ Research NEC/WIZ/MAG/ENC loot Runed Glyph: Grexit and Runed Glyph: Truxit from a pile of bones that spawn after each of their deaths
Step 4
1) Have your 200+ Research NEC/WIZ/MAG/ENC combine the following in their Spell Research Kit to create Engraved Rune.

Runed Glyph: Truxit
2) Engraved Rune will be used to open the next door to the Altar Overseer room. Place it your cursor and type “U” on your keyboard to use it.
Step 5
Next is the Altar Overseer event. You’ll notice 9x Altar Monuments surrounding him. Once Altar Overseer is engaged the Altar Monuments will periodically aggro and deaggro members of the raid. Usually 2-3 at a time will become active. All won’t be active at once. Burn down Altar Overseer. Once he dies the Altar Monuments will stop aggroing shortly after.
Loot Overseer’s Geostone from his corpse. This is the key to the next area. Anyone can loot this item.

– Estimated 450K HP
– Hits 3500+ (35 Heroic Stamina)
– Slowable
– Casts Rain of Stone (Targeted AE, 1500 DD, -300 Chromatic Based)
– Casts Bury (Single Target, 6000 DD + Feign Death, Unresistable)
– Casts Throw (Single Target, 3000 DD + Knockback, -1000 Magic Based)
Step 6
1) Use Overseer’s Geostone to open the door to the next room. Place it your cursor and type “U” on your keyboard to use it.
2) Up ahead you’ll see Phantasmal Priest + 2 Guardians. They are non-aggro at this time. A Priest Class CLR/DRU/SHM must speak to Phantasmal Priest. Say “answer the challenge” to receive 4x Dried Segment of Flesh.
3) Combine the 4x Dried Segment of Flesh into a Sewing Kit to create Parchment of Flesh. I did this with 100 Tailoring skill and it was already trivial. If you fail the combine you can likely ask Phantasmal Priest for the reagents again.
4) Give Parchment of Flesh to Phantasmal Priest. He will emote and give an option to go both north and south. The Priest must click on both the “north” and “south” text. Each one teleport the Priest into a small room with a ground spawn
Stone Fragment. Loot it in both rooms. When in a small room you can return to the Phantasmal Priest by typing “return” in say.
5) Give 1x Stone Fragment to each of the Phantasmal Priest Guardians. Phantasmal Priest will despawn and the Guardians will both attack. Kill them. You’ll then be able to progress to the next room.

– Casts Earthen Shrapnel (PBAE, 500 DD, -300 Magic Based)
Step 7
In the next room kill 2x Curate Firetenders. Have 1 person loot both 2x Glowing Chunk of Coal from each of their corpses. A container will drop later in the next step to combine these in.

– Casts Fireburst (Single Target, 50 – 350 DD, -300 Fire Based)
Step 8
1) Next you’ll need to kill Oracle of the Altar. The person who looted 2x Glowing Chunk of Coal in the last step should loot
Stone Drum of Cohesion (2-slot container) from Oracle of the Altar’s corpse.
2) Combine 2x Glowing Chunk of Coal into Stone Drum of Cohesion (2-slot container) to create Fused Trusik Signet.

– Approx 500K HP
– Hits 3100+ (35 Heroic Stamina)
– Immune to Slow
– Flurries
– Casts Kneeshatter (Single Target, 1500-2000 DD/2000 Endurance Drain, Snare, Unresistable, 18 Poison Counter)
– Casts Throw (Single Target, 3000 DD + Knockback, -1000 Magic Based)
Step 9
1) Use Fused Trusik Signet to open the next door. Place it your cursor and type “U” on your keyboard to use it.
2) Kill Altar of Construct. He will spawn Lesser Altar Construct adds as the fight goes (5-6 at a time). They are mezzable. Burn down Altar of Construct.

– Casts Earthen Shrapnel (PBAE, 500 DD, -300 Magic Based)
– Casts Stone Gale (Targeted AE, 1500 DD + Stun, Unresistable)
Lesser Altar Construct (Adds)
– 20K HP
– Hit 1200+
– Cannot be slowed
– Mezzable
Step 10
The final fight is Keeper of the Altar. This fight can be chaotic as there are knockbacks, AE’s, and lots of adds. Kill Keeper of the Altar to beat the dungeon. He will also proc Feign Death on the tank. The idea here is to burn down Keeper of the Altar ASAP.
– A ton of Altar Assailant adds (10 or so) will spawn during the event. They will aggro and deaggro periodically. It seems to be best to kite these until they deaggro again.
– Altar Adherents will also spawn, usually 1 at a time. They can only be killed by certain arch-types as indicated by an emote:
Caster: The creature will perish under the strength of intelligent magic.
Hybrid: The creature looks vulnerable to the might of combined strength and ingenuity.
Melee: “Strength and cunning.”
Priest: The creature cannot stand up to the power of healers.
Note: Make sure to loot Sliver of the High Temple from a pile of bones for progression purposes!
