Pre-Requirement: Kod’Taz Access

This guide is for in-era access where Gates is the latest expansion. Once additional expansions are released on a server, Qvic will eventually become available to anyone who is level 65. Need confirmation on what expansion this takes place.

To access Qvic you need to complete 2 raids:

1) Ikkinz Raid #4: Antechamber of Destruction. Loot Sliver of the High Temple
2) Uqua, The Ocean God Chantry. Loot  Fragment of the High Temple

These raids can be done in either order. Ikkinz Raid #4 requires that at least 1 person complete the Kod’Taz Progression in order to request it. Uqua has no pre-requirements to request it.

Once you have  Sliver of the High Temple and  Fragment of the High Temple locate Tublik Narwethar in Kod’Taz. Make sure to have both items in your bags.

Give him only the  Sliver of the High Temple. He will hand back a “finished” version with the same item name and emote:

You offered 1 Sliver of the High Temple to Tublik Narwethar.

Tublik Narwethar says, ‘You’ve exceed all my expectations. This key is only the first of what looks to be three needed… needed for what I wonder? I imagine you’ll find out more as you continue your adventures. Seek out Brevik in the Abysmal Sea should you discover anything else. He is one of the Wayfarers Brotherhood’s resident geomancer adepts. He’s not yet fully skilled, but he has much in the way of knowledge of the craft already and learning more each day. He will no doubt have more information for you. For now, I bid you good luck and farewell, Lakeziar!’

At this point you’ll want to zone out and back in of Kod’Taz. Make sure to have both Sliver of the High Temple and Fragment of the High Temple in your inventory. You should see red text upon zoning back in:

The magical barrier protecting Qvic softens as you pass through it.
LOADING, PLEASE WAIT…
You have entered Kod’Taz, Broken Trial Grounds.

You can now zone into Qvic. There are three methods to zone in:

1) Speak to Madronoa in Natimbi. Say “wish to travel“. She will port you in close to the Txevu zone entrance. This is the preferred way to zone into Qvic.

2) You can also zone into Qvic through Kod’Taz directly. Although this method is usually not preferred since it will put you in into the front of Qvic where a bunch of trash mobs will be in the way before reaching the main part of the zone.

3) You can also zone in from Yxtta, but this method is not often used.

At some point during this you should also get the achievement for the key, although this can be buggy. Sometimes you have to relog to receive it.

Thanks for using EQProgression!
